2. Rent & Return
Quick. Simple. Flexible.
Velocity holds standard bikes as well as a number of tricycles and handbikes ready for you. Use the - symbol on the map in your app to filter for bike types.
RENT A BIKE
Rent a standard bike, tricycle or handbike via app: simply scan the QR-code or enter the bike number. The frame lock will open automatically. Therefore never rent a bike from afar!

PARK A BIKE
You can park your bike inbetween your journey without stopping the rental. Activate the park mode in your app and close the lock afterwards. In your app you can also stop it again once you want to continue your journey. The frame lock opens automatically. Therefore never stop the park mode from afar!
RETURN A BIKE
Return the bike at an official station and close the FrameLock. Update your app to make sure that the return was successful. In the map you can see where you can return bikes.
VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT
The registration is free of charge. Before renting your first bike, we need to verify your payment method. You will be required to deposit a credit of xy Lei which can be used in all fare types. You can change your preferred payment method at any time. yx Lei will be debitted for verification with every change.
Payment with credit card, direct debit, PayPal*, GooglePay or ApplePay.

1 ACCOUNT = 4 BIKES
You can rent up to four bikes at the same time using one account. Special rates and offers only apply to the first bike, additional bikes are charged at the basic rate.
SERVICE FEES
The return away from stations is not permitted and will be penalised with a minimum service fee of 100 Lei. All prices and fees can be found under Prices.
